Meet The Sax Chap

Tim Garner (The Sax Chap) has been a professional saxophone player for the past 40 years. Having originally commenced his musical career with The band of HM Scots Guards he went on to perform all over the world and took part in many iconic events including the funeral procession of HM Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, the handover ceremony of Hong Kong in 1997 amongst many other memorable state ocassions.
Tim then went on to join the Household Cavalry as Principal Saxophonist withThe Band of The Blues & Royals. Alongside his military career, he has performed with many successful ensembles including The String of Pearls Big Band and played with The Four Tops (yes, THE Four Tops!)
The Sax Chap's mission is to enchant audiences with the magical sounds of the saxophone, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to every gathering. He strives to make each performance a unique and unforgettable musical journey for all listeners.

The Sax Chap performs in London, Kent and the South East home counties and will travel further with negotiation.
